Evolution of a law practice with a neighborhood feel:
A significant portion of our practice can be traced back to former clients of Attorney Robert Yurich and Yurich Financial. After Bob passed away in 2002, solo practitioner Catherine Furio offered her services to his former clients. Now, Catherine practices law part time to allow her more time to pursue her other interests. Solo practitioner Lynn Kriessler now servesformer clients of both practices and welcomes new clients from multiple counties in Northeast Ohio. Our assistant Judy Hughes has played an instrumental role in assisting our clients throughout these transitions, making both old and new clients feel welcome and at home.
What sets us apart from other attorneys and online services?
We are easily accessible, affordable, practical and easy to understand. We tailor each estate plan to the client’s individual objectives and make sure the client not only understands the concept of the plan, but also understands on a practical level how to maintain and maximize the benefits of the plan. We routinely provide follow up guidance to clients when they have questions and there is no such thing as a stupid question!
What is Estate Planning?
An estate plan is more than just a will. In fact, it isn’t only about your death. Most people think of themselves as either alive and well and taking care of business, or dead. Many of our clients experience a gray area in between those two conditions, whether they become seriously ill, suffer a loss of mobility, or are diagnosed with dementia. In those cases, no one will be able to act on your behalf without legal authority. Therefore, we advise that everyone aged 18 and over have a Power of Attorney and a Health Care Power of Attorney. Many people also sign a Living Will to make their intentions known about artificial means of life support, etc.
